Matilda & Dan met in March 2011 when Matilda was a struggling student working at a pub to make ends meet and Dan was a junior designer. The early years of their relationship saw a lot of long-distance (France/Holland to London), many dodgy apartments (big up Cyberplex), a lot of exams and career progression. The last 5 years has seen a relocation to Leicestershire, finally buying a home together and the birth of two beautiful children. After 15 years, Matilda has finally mastered the Essex lingo (‘jellies’ not ‘sweets’), Dan’s knowledge of the criminal justice system is so competent he could become a lawyer himself and both know that the solution to most problems is to put Peppa Pig on and have a silent beer/sob in the kitchen.
